The classic trench was the inspiration for our fashionable short coat Franz.

Tailored from Bavaria Loden from the cloth factory Gebrüder Mehler, the oldest cloth manufacturer in Germany. The loden fabric used here is medium-weight (320 gr./m²) and is popular for cooler temperatures. It has a noble appearance, repels wind (up to wind force 10) and rain, and is extremely breathable. For the special demands of wind and weather, we have added an additional impregnation to Franz Loden. BIONIC-FINISH® ECO Anyone who looks at Franz recognises the strength of our label in combining design and functionality: Movement pleats at the back and two side slits for maximum arm freedom in the bike saddle, a reversible back strap. Franz, like all our models, offers great protection at dusk and in the dark thanks to the reversible 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflectors. The underside of the collar, the back strap and the turn-up cuffs at the end of the sleeves have reversible 3M™ Scotchlite™ reflectors.
